I'm starting a new project for my blog. I'll be posting some details about
various locations I've shot, either weddings, engagement shoots, or other...
with the hope that this information will help other photographers or couples decide
"where should we go for our ______ shoot?" ;-) I think organizing this will be key,
but will also be the toughest part! Sorted alphabetically by CITY.

Carter :: July 2009

a few months ago we decided to get a puppy, a sweet little Italian Greyhound we named Carter.
Carter is 7 months old now, and is full of energy! he's come a long way since he first arrived.
I was able to get him to calm down enough for a few photos.


here he is at the bottom of the stairs...he LOVES running up and down the stairs.

abby & josh :: married

my apologies for taking SO long to post! since my last post, a lot has happened (new home & dog, hopefully a new studio soon, probably another white hair or two, taxes, gotta love taxes!) :-) and, of course, another wedding! on March 14, 2009, Abby & Josh were married! they are perfect for each other, so sweet and loving. their wedding was held at St Edwards Catholic Church in Dana Point, CA.

nicole & jeff married

I've been MIA and neglecting my blog-posting duties. I'm back and ready to post more beautiful photos from Nicole & Jeff's wedding. they were married at Calvary Chapel of the Canyons, tucked away in the hills of Silverado Canyon on Feb 7, 2009.

it was cloudy that day, and actually rained hard. we were able to quickly get some shots right outside





the feathers in this bouquet were a really nice touch!

Nicole & Jeff experienced hail on their wedding day (Feb 7th).
this one was taken shortly before it starting pouring
balls of ice! they're a super fun & relaxed couple!
I really enjoyed working with them...an awesome experience!

nicole & jeff :: engaged

it was a nice day in November ('08), the weather was behaving,
and the sun was out, so we headed to Long Beach. this engagement
shoot was a fun stroll in the park...here's Nicole & Jeff,
to be married next month. I had a great time and I'm looking forward
to the wedding. congrats you two, see you soon!

nikki & joel :: wedding

I'm back in town, and ready for the new year! well, sorta ready.
ready or not, it's coming. I know I'm a tad slow on the blog posts, considering
it's now Dec 30th, and my last post was Dec 14th.

without any further delays, another lovely couple, Nikki & Joel,
married on Nov 15th, right on the sands of Laguna Beach.

Nikki really wanted a photo with her grandmother. this one was one of my faves, so cute!

I loved how they had no problem climbing up on the rocks to catch the sunset.
